Landscape Climate Archive

Submission: Download the archive template here and submit in PDF format to aslaadapt.gsd@gmail.com

Designers have addressed climate change in academia for almost three decades now, and it’s time to take stock of this work from a cross-institutional and student-centered perspective. The goal of this project is to highlight the diversity of student projects considering that academic institutions are already very good at promoting their own distilled selection of climate related works.

Situated between Instagram and the institutional monograph, we hope that the project will allow trends and tendencies to rise to the surface without flattening the work.

We’re hoping that you’ll submit one or more projects you completed as part of studio coursework or competitions while in school. The work will be exhibited this spring at the GSD Kirkland Gallery in 11×17 format, clustered in groups based on keywords chosen by each entrant. Visitors to the archive will be invited to append a separate set of keywords to organize the project. The work will also be available online and may travel to additional events and institutions.

Save for incomplete submissions, all entries will be exhibited. Multiple submissions encouraged! We want to document as much climate work as possible.
